A safe place to come out

Chris was about 18 in 1995 "When I first came out there was one gay youth group that used to meet regularly on a Saturday at a youth club in Nechells Green." The age range was from 16-30 and it was a mixture of male and female. Lots of people were coming out onto the scene for the first time. They used to meet at 2pm for a few hours then the older ones went to the bars in town.
