Nightingale Aston
February 1975 to February 1981
The club moved to Aston in 1975. It purchased a small corner nightclub on Witton Lane in the shadow of the Aston Villa football ground. It had a small reception when you entered which faced a bar where you could purchase your first drink. You then moved into a triangular shaped room, part of which was a restaurant and part of which was a quite lounge area. If you went upstairs there was black woodchip wallpaper and a disco area. The club invested heavily in lighting systems and was renowned for its light shows at the time.
